Chef Jesse with Tuscany: Rustic Italian Bistro


NY Steak

 6 oz

Olive Oil

 1 oz

Garlic, Sliced

1 tsp

Spinach, Fresh

3 oz

 Pine Nuts

 ½ oz

 White Wine

 1 oz

Vegetable Base

 1 tsp

Salt and Pepper

2 pinch

Demi Glaze

2 oz

  1. Place sauté pan on med-hi to heat. As pan is coming to temp add olive oil. Season NY Steak with salt and pepper.
  2. Place steak season side down into hot oil and sear for 2-3 minutes. Season other side and repeat process until cooked to desired doneness
  3. Remove steak from pan and set aside to rest.
  4. Using the same pan, add garlic and pine nuts. Sauté until garlic is light brown.
  5. Place Spinach over garlic and pine nuts and toss until spinach is well coated and deglaze with white wine and vegetable base.
  6. Cook until Spinach is wilted (around 30 seconds)
  7. Remove Spinach from pan and mound onto center of plate.

Top Spinach with Steak and Drizzle Spinach with Demi Glaze Sauce

Reheating cooked food must be reheated to 165 degrees.
