Whiskey BBQ Sauce

1 large red bell pepper (diced)
1 large green bell pepper (diced)
2 shallots (diced)
¼ cup whiskey
¼ cup lemon juice
¼ cup bbq sauce
1 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
½ cup heavy cream
1 Tbsp Butter
Salt and Pepper to taste


In a medium sauce pan sauté bell peppers and shallots with 1 Tbsp olive oil until tender. Add whiskey. Be careful of any flames. Simmer for a min. add remaining ingredients except butter. Let reduce by half. Turn off heat and incorporate butter until dissolved. Ladle 4 oz. over steak and prawns.
