| Some information about Matt |
| Matt joined KVEW in March 2008. He graduated in 2007 from the Edward R. Murrow School of Communication at Washington State University with a Bachelors of Communication with Broadcast News and Broadcast Production emphases. While at Washington State, Matt spent three semesters as a teaching assistant for the Broadcast News and Production classes, and produced and directed several shows for the student-run television station, Cable 8. Before accepting a job at KVEW-TV, Matt interned twice with KLEW-TV in Lewiston Idaho, once in high school, and the other while attending Washington State University. Matt accepted a part time KLEW-TV reporter and production assistant job in July 2006, while still attending WSU. After a job as a news producer at the CBS affiliate in Spokane, Matt was fortunate to be able to return to what he likes best, getting out and telling stories as a KVEW reporter. In his spare time, Matt likes to drive and explore new places, check out the latest additions to his vast movie collection, and spend time with family and friends.
