Kristi Paulus

Anchor, 5 and 6:30pm

Kristi is so happy to be in the Tri-Cities, near family and friends. And, she's anxious to explore this part of the state, with its' great people and amazing outdoor activities.

Kristi Paulus joined the KAPP/KVEW team as anchor in January 2010. Kristi's family is from Western Washington, so, in a way she is coming home...again.

Kristi spent much of her childhood in Tacoma and studied Broadcast Journalism at the British Columbia Institute of Technology.

Out of college she worked as a reporter and anchor at KCOY in Santa Maria, California and KTXL in Sacramento. After her tour of duty in California, she returned to Seattle in 2000 and worked as a General Assignment Reporter for more than five years at KCPQ and later KIRO. While in Seattle she covered some major news stories including the 2001 earthquake, the Mardi Gras riots and the aftermath of September 11th.

For Kristi, delivering the news is an honor and a privilege. She never tires of telling the stories of the people who live in our community. Kristi is so happy to be in the Tri-Cities, near family and friends. And, she's anxious to explore this part of the state, with its' great people and amazing outdoor activities.

Oh, and she's always looking for new friends with boats! :)
